Here are some of my favorite novels that have influenced my work. From time to time, I also post more detailed book reviews in this section. Although I mostly read science fiction and multicultural fiction, I also read a good amount of non-fiction for research purposes, including books related to psychology, nanotechnology, astrobiology, and neuroscience (particularly related to the way we dream and recall memory).

Sometimes, I just pick up a book at random and give it a whirl. In rare cases, I give myself permission to leave a book unfinished or return to it later (I'm looking at you, Naked Lunch).
